Calling All Volunteers for Camp Escapades

Camp Escapades is considered one of the most popular youth volunteer activities in the South Bay. Many of our camp volunteers sign up year after year to participate in a rewarding and enjoyable opportunity to become a “white shirt,” who serves as a camper’s buddy during camp. Volunteers not only enjoy a meaningful experience that gives back to the community, but they also enjoy opportunities to build better leadership and social skills.

Take Me out to the Ballgame! People Supported by Momentum Celebrate Dodgers’ Win

A trip to the ballpark was nothing but perfect weather and a Dodgers win. With a go-ahead grand slam in the 7th inning, Dodgers rallied to win 7-3 over the Twins in May. People supported by Momentum through community living services enjoyed the afternoon. Being in the community is such an important piece of our mission. Everyone deserves to experience life. Sign Your Child Up for Our New Sensory Explorers Program!

Sensory Explorers is a new program designed by Winny Soenaryo, OTD, OTR/L, Assistant Professor of Clinical Occupational Therapy at USC Division of Occupational Sciences and Occupational Therapy.

Dr. Soenaryo is also the Senior Director of Professional Development and Clinical Research Coordination and Momentum’s Pediatric Clinics

Sensory Explorers is a six-week program that engages children ages 4 to 6 years old in fun, sensory-based activities. The children will participate in creating unique works of art by exploring and engaging all of their senses!

Our Sensory Explorers program provides loads of sensory experiences–sights, scents, and textures–all designed to promote self-regulation, motor development, coordination, social engagement, and problem-solving skills through play and wonder.

ABA Team Celebrates Ribbon Cutting in Illinois

Momentum’s ABA services are available for individuals, in-person, both at our clinic and in family homes, throughout Illinois. We are ecstatic to help individuals and families. Last week, our team held a ribbon cutting with the Sycamore Chamber of Commerce to celebrate this new step in care. Learn more about these services here.

Plenty of tee-times and sponsorships are still available for one of the best golf tournaments in California! Since its establishment in 1999, the Stern family golf tournament has been instrumental in raising over $1.5 million to support pediatric programs and services benefiting children with disabilities and medical conditions.

This remarkable event offers a splendid opportunity to align with Momentum and Momentum WORK, Inc., while indulging in an enjoyable round of golf alongside your esteemed colleagues, beloved family members, and cherished friends.
