Special Children’s League
Special Children’s League, Inc. (SCL) was founded in 1946 as a volunteer auxiliary organization dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities relying on United Cerebral Palsy of Los Angeles.
Today, we have three active SCL committees in Foothill, South Bay and Whittier. These committees are actively raising funds for UCPLA through special events, silent auctions and other activities. These groups of dedicated volunteers, who raise thousands of dollars every year for UCPLA, are always on the lookout for new members who share their vision, interest and enthusiasm.
The Special Children’s League’s Foothill Committee is actively seeking new members at this time. To learn more about becoming a part of this vibrant group of supporters, contact Amy Simons (818) 782-2211 ext. 532 or asimons@ucpla.org.
Psi Delta Sigma
Psi Delta Sigma was founded in 1921 as a national social group of women with a charitable purpose of supporting United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) affiliates throughout the US. Psi Delta Sigma has been supporting UCP in California since 1968 and today there are four active chapters exclusively in Southern California. Their fundraising efforts have led to over a million dollars in total contributions since 1948. For more information about Psi Delta Sigma and their upcoming events, visit their website.
