Momentum’s outreach to the public adds new advocates
Momentum’s outreach to the public adds new advocates
September 3, 2021
While COVID concerns restricted our plans for a larger public celebration of the brand, board members and junior board members gathered at Dodger Stadium at the end of August to highlight Momentum’s effort to bring inclusion and access to all people.
Junior Board volunteers raised nearly $5,000 at the event and added advocates to our mission.
August 28, 2021, marked a renewed conversation on how society should think about and consider people with disabilities. We truly believe everyone deserves to live their best life and Momentum is working to make that a reality. That conversation moved forward with the recruitment of three new Junior Board members.
The work is far from over. We are grateful for all who align with our mission and lend their voice — and vote — to our advocacy initiatives over the coming months and years to bolster exceptional change in our local communities and beyond. Despite the health crisis we face as a world right now, we can still make the world prioritize children and adults with disabilities and medical conditions. If you’re reading this, you can get involved by checking out our current advocacy initiatives here, follow us on social media, and spread the word about how Momentum is unlocking the potential in people and the communities they live in.
Thank you to our supporters whose recent contributions to Momentum were recognized at the event. You have our gratitude.
