Q: What university do you attend?

A: California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH)

Q: What therapy programs were you a part of at Momentum?

A: I was part of Buddy Club and Early Head Start during my time at MPTN.

Q: What did you most enjoy about your time at Momentum?

A: I most enjoyed the sense of community during my time at MPTN. I feel very fortunate to have met so many incredible families and therapists who were so welcoming and supportive. Also, I loved any time I could have a dance party or play with shaving cream with the kids.

Q: Why did you choose to become an Occupational Therapist?

A: I chose to become an OT because I knew I wanted a career where I could make a positive impact on the everyday lives of children and families.

Q: What are your next steps after Momentum?

A: I am graduating with my Master’s degree in OT in May of this year with plans to take the board exam and begin looking for a job.

Q: What are your long-term goals as an Occupational Therapist?

A: Long-term, I know I want to work in pediatrics but am still deciding what that will look like for me. The beauty of OT is that there are so many different paths to take and I’m excited to see where mine takes me!
