Q: What university do you attend?

A: California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH)

Q: What therapy programs were you a part of at Momentum?

A: Leaps & Bounds early intervention and Buddy Club

Q: What did you most enjoy about your time at Momentum?

A: Being a part of the Leaps & Bounds program! I loved working with the younger kids and providing fun, yet effective, group interventions. I saw so much progress in the 3 months that I was here. The BAM staff was an amazing team to work with.

Q: Why did you choose to become an Occupational Therapist?

A: I’ve always wanted to work with children and OT was a career that would allow me to do so while making a difference. I was drawn to the way that OT took a holistic, client-centered approach to healthcare. For me, the field combines two of my passions, mental and physical health.

Q: What are your next steps after Momentum?

A: Graduate and take the boards! After which, the job hunt begins!

Q: What are your long-term goals as an Occupational Therapist?

A: To work in pediatrics and to work in a setting that I feel supported and appreciated.
