A: Occupational Therapist

How long have you worked at Momentum?

A: 3.5 years

Q: What therapy services are you a part of at Momentum?

A: Occupational Therapy, Leaps & Bounds, Social Skills/Buddy Club, Early Start Denver Model (ESDM)

Q: What university did you graduate from?

A: USC 

Q: What is the most rewarding part of your job? 

A: The most rewarding part of my job is helping children learn foundational skills and then apply those skills to be successful in their daily lives and activities. 

 

Q: What feelings do you get seeing progress in the children you help support?

A: I am filled with pride when my clients make progress; it is so rewarding to see them be successful in areas that were difficult for them before starting therapy. It is a great feeling to watch their confidence grow as they gain more independence with each new skill mastered. 

 

Q: Why did you choose to become an occupational therapist?

A: I choose to become a pediatric OT because I felt I could make a positive impact on the lives of the children in need.
