Camp Escapades returned to Rolling Hills Country Day School for a 1-week inclusive camping experience. The smiling faces of 60 campers, volunteers and staff filled the site in Palos Verdes, where we played games and participated in enriching activities. Campers had an experience every child deserves and left with memories that will last well after the end of camp. Camp Escapades is one of the most memorable opportunities we can create for not only the kids we serve, but for our youth who volunteer. A camper’s activities or opportunities are never defined by a diagnosis, condition, or disability – these kids of all ages simply can just have fun here,” said Dr. JJ Levenstein, retired pediatrician, and Chair of Momentum’s Board of Directors. “This experience is an invaluable growth experience for our adult volunteers and the teens who return every summer to pair up with their buddy campers.
