‘In Case You Missed It’ Highlights – 1/16

January 16, 2023
You helped us start 2023 with a smile. Our end-of-year fundraising campaign ROCKED because of our supporters. Those efforts raised a stunning $513,862 to maintain and grow our lifespan of services.

Every tax-deductible donation directly impacts the lives of the children and adults who rely on Momentum’s pediatric and adult programs, services, dedicated professional therapists, nurses, and caregivers. We hope you had an excellent start to the new year. We’ve had many notable moments to recap in just the first two weeks. Read on!

Momentum Refresh Featured on KTLA

Talented actress and Momentum Wheels for Humanity board member Laura San Giacomo appeared on KTLA to highlight Momentum Refresh and the importance of restroom equity for people with mobility issues.

We’re grateful for Laura’s deep passion to help people with disabilities and medical conditions. In the interview, she points to the need to have Refresh at businesses, venues and events. Watch the whole interview here. For more information about Refresh, visit our website at momentumrefresh.org or call (818) 782-2211.

Thank You & Happy Trails!

After 38 years, Shirley J. is retiring. She has held numerous positions throughout her time at Momentum and most recently as our Human Resources Coordinator. We are grateful for her dedication to helping children and adults with disabilities and medical conditions throughout her time here. We wish her the best in retirement!
