On National Superhero Day, we were proud to celebrate two incredible members of our team.

Rosa and Samuel went above and beyond in supporting one of the individuals we serve, providing life-saving care when it mattered most. In recognition of their extraordinary actions, they were presented with the Momentum Hero Award.

Strengthening Therapeutic Care in Torrance

We’re grateful to Women Inspiring NextGen (WIN) for their generous gift of over $24,000 to support updates to a therapeutic gym space at our pediatric clinic in Torrance.

WIN is a women’s philanthropic organization committed to improving the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of children and young adults in underserved communities throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

This investment in Momentum helps strengthen the services and care available to the individuals we support and reflects the power of community across Southern California.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night filled with meaningful connections with Momentum and our family of organizations, delicious food, signature cocktails, lively entertainment, and unforgettable moments. Most importantly, we came together to celebrate the individuals supported by Momentum and the strength of our community. The event this year raised over $220,000 to support Momentum’s lifespan of services.

Celebrating 40 Incredible Years at Six Flags Magic Mountain!

After 40 incredible years at Six Flags Magic Mountain, we’re celebrating our friend Marshall on his retirement! 🎉

Marshall’s dedication, hard work, and positive spirit have made a lasting impact on everyone who has known and worked alongside him. While retirement marks the end of one chapter, Marshall is already looking ahead to exciting new adventures, including working with friends on the online magazine Collective Voices and pursuing many other interests.

Recognizing Leaders Expanding Access and Inclusion

During the Momentum Celebrates! event at Momentum HQ, Momentum Refresh had the absolute privilege to cheer on our Pickaway County Developmental Disabilities partners as they received the Trailblazer Award!

Building More Inclusive Communities Through Partnership

Through collaboration with national and local partners, Momentum Wheels for Humanity is helping strengthen rehabilitation and assistive product services across Northern and Eastern Uganda.

By supporting healthcare worker training, improving service delivery, and contributing to national planning efforts, this work is helping build a stronger and more sustainable system of care for people with disabilities and their communities.

• More than 800 people received assistive products and rehabilitation services

• More than 300 healthcare workers received training

This is the impact long-term investment, partnership, and community-centered support can create.
