TJX Donates to Momentum CARES Holiday Marketplace

Momentum is proud to host our 2024 Momentum CARES Holiday Marketplace again this year, and we are beyond excited to announce that TJX, parent company of TJ MAXX, has partnered with us to support our families in need. Thanks to TJX’s generous donation, we’ll be able to stock the shelves of our Holiday Marketplace, allowing Momentum families to shop for free and bring warmth and joy to their holiday season. Momentum’s The Art of Universal Design

As part of the Innovative Studios: The New Modern Art exhibit, Momentum’s Aragna Ker, Curatorial and Adaptive Design Manager, and Edmond Osepans, Director of Quality and Compliance, led an inspiring presentation on the Art of Universal Design at the Altadena Library! It was a terrific snapshot of the countless hours invested in creating a world where all perspectives have a space and a spectacular display of how innovation can be inclusive, adapting, and empowering.

There is still time to visit the Momentum Creative exhibit at the Altadena Library during library hours through October 29th. The exhibit features incredible art and unique tools that brought the art to life.

Sullivan Curtis Monroe Gives $10,000 Donation to Strengthen Our Programs and Services

Momentum appreciates the generous support received from our insurance brokers, Sullivan Curtis Monroe (SCM)! Robert Kummer and Catherine Chang from SCM recently presented a $10,000 check to Lori Anderson, President and CEO to support Momentum’s programs and services. Additionally, SCM donated $1,000 to our subsidiary, Momentum Wheels for Humanity, helping us further our mission of empowering individuals. We are incredibly grateful for this partnership and the positive impact it will make!

We recently featured Chris Benedict, a passionate advocate for disability rights, a professional DJ, and a motivational speaker whose work profoundly impacts our community. Recently, he was honored by Disability Rights California/Office of Clients’ Rights Advocacy (DRC/ORCA) and the Association of Regional Center Agencies (ARCA) for his tireless efforts and commitment to championing inclusivity for individuals.
