Celebrating Ability at the Aquarium of the Pacific

Earlier this month individuals supported by Momentum had an unforgettable time at the 23rd Annual Festival of Human Abilities at the Aquarium of the Pacific!

From live performances to hands-on workshops, the festival celebrated the creativity, passion, and adaptive talents of people with disabilities. It was a powerful reminder of the brilliance that emerges when inclusion leads the way.

Huge thanks to Aquarium of the Pacific for hosting such a welcoming, accessible, and inspiring event! View more photos.

Color, Confidence, and Creativity in Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara students with disabilities explored color theory through bright, hands-on color wheel art—and the results are incredible. Watching students mix, match, and discover new shades while building confidence and creative skills is exactly what inclusive art is all about.

Watch the linked video to see how his new active-style wheelchair has helped him rediscover independence and possibility.

Momentum Refresh: Clean, Accessible, and Community Centered

Since starting chemotherapy, one community member shared, “I haven’t been able to go out much. Thank you so much for being here and providing such a clean and accessible facility.”

This is the heart of Momentum Refresh. By removing barriers to access, Refresh creates welcoming spaces where people can gather, celebrate, and stay connected to their communities. Because everyone deserves the opportunity to show up, feel included, and join the fun.
