Momentum did advocacy outreach to our constituents to raise our voices against Governor Newsom’s delay of $1 Billion for Critical Disability Services. We are asking you to join our efforts opposing the Governor’s proposed delay, and deliver funding for disability services on July 1, 2024, as promised in good faith last year. For Californians with disabilities and their families, the funding delay will be a destabilizing cut to services. The investment needs to happen as promised this year. A valuable experience! My Place is an after school social skills program where teens develop social skills to use in the community. The group visited Dave And Busters and paired up to practice social skills, making purchases, taking turns at games all while being good sports. If you or anyone you know would benefit from joining My Place, an after-school program dedicated to bringing out the best in our children and teens please visit: this link.
