In 1997 with the support of the community, Camp Escapades was launched offering a traditional summer camp experience for children with developmental concerns who otherwise would not be able to enjoy a typical summer camp. Today, 5,000+ high school student, known as “white shirt buddies” to our campers, have volunteered at camp. This summer experience is truly one-of-a-kind opportunity for children that isn’t found anywhere else.
